We are delighted to announce that Jessica Starns has reached Senior level shortly before celebrating her first year with Astute, which is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Jess and keep up the good work!

#TeamAstute is Expanding

We’re excited to announce that we have three new team members here at Astute.

Chris Richmond has joined us as Operations Director who will focus on Business Development and building and mentoring the team here at Astute.

Trevor Dimmock has joined the team, with a tremendous track record in Finance & Senior Search, having worked for some of the largest names in the industry. So we’re very excited to have him on board!
Ellie Eaton has joined us to work alongside Liz Champion on the Office Support roles, which covers all temporary and permanent back-office recruitment including HR, admin, customer services and all other office, non-finance jobs.We also have an exciting announcement in January with another amazing recruiter joining the team – so watch this space!

Business Breakfast with Claire Lomas MBE

An amazing morning was had back in October at our Business Breakfast Event with Claire Lomas. Her presentation on overcoming adversity after her tragic accident was truly inspirational. Over 30 local businessmen and women attended and enjoyed the motivational talk from Claire and there were lots of questions for her at the end of her talk and also a book signing. Derby Arena proved to be a perfect setting for our Event, and Team GB Training at the Velodrome added to an extra special morning.
We will be hosting another Business Breakfast next year so look out for details!

Congratulations to our raffle winners!

Guests who attended and webinar attendees were offered the chance to enter our raffle by using the hashtag #AstuteBusinessEvent and our lucky winners were Maria Hanson MBE Me & Dee Charity who won the Champagne; Bonnie Mach was the winner of the Prosecco and four of Claire’s amazing books were won by Craig Hardy – PT Hire, Diana Hunter – Mertrux, Phil Handley – HSKS Greenhalgh and Jon Ward.

Derbyshire Chamber Business Awards

The team recently attended the Derbyshire Chamber Awards where our MD Sarah Stevenson was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year. Whilst we didn’t win we all had a great evening and it was great to celebrate success with the other finalists and congratulate the winners!

Great agency one of the best ones I've worked with! Liz has been a great help and support in helping me towards a new direction in my career life.
