This top-ranked, mid-tier accounting & advisory firm with offices in Dallas & Fort Worth is seeking to hire a Tax Manager with an emphasis on Individual, Partnership, C & S Corps and trust tax– compliance, consulting, planning & research.

Your role:
- Conduct extensive research on complex tax issues to ensure compliance and planning and optimize tax positions.
- Lead the preparation of intricate tax returns across different entities (individuals, C-Corps, S-Corps, partnerships, trusts, estates).
- Stay updated on tax law changes and their implications for clients.
- Oversee engagement team members, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Act as a resource and mentor, guiding staff in developing their technical skills.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand and address their needs effectively.
- Demonstrate advanced understanding of various tax structures and handle complex returns confidently.
- Review work produced by Associates & Seniors, ensuring accuracy in individual and corporate federal and state income tax returns.
Your background:
- Tax Manager (will consider a heavy duty Senior ready for a step up)
- CPA licensed
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of Individual, Partnership, S and/or C Corps returns
Your rewards (just some of what’s on offer):
- $160,000 base salary
- $15,000 (up to) sign-on bonus
- 10% annual bonus (has always paid out in recent years)
